What is refurbished phone insurance?
Refurbished phone insurance is cover for refurbished mobile phones, helping to protect you against unexpected events such as accidental damage, theft (optional), loss for £1.50 per month per device, breakdown, and liquid damage.
Like insurance for a new handset, it can help cover the cost of repairing or replacing your device if something goes wrong, giving you peace of mind and helping you avoid unexpected one-off expenses. You'll pay a monthly premium spreading the cost and an excess payment for any accepted claim.
Protect Your Bubble cover mobile phones bought refurbished from a manufacturer, a network provider or an Assurant approved retailer, including Amazon Renewed, Music Magpie, selected eBay Refurbished Shops and more. Please review the approved retailer list to check that your refurbished device is eligible for cover.
We cannot insure devices bought as used or refurbished from other online outlets or high street retail stores. Second-hand phones cannot be covered under our insurance policy, regardless of where they have been bought.-
Damage or smashed screen from an accident. Not including cosmetic damage like scratches and dents which doesn't affect the functionality of your device.

Failure to look after your device. We expect you to take reasonable precautions to keep your gadgets safe from theft, loss, and damage.

Replacement or repaired devices being sent beyond the UK. Replacements and repaired items can only be sent to UK addresses.

Mechanical breakdown within the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer can help you with device issues when under warranty.

More than 2 replacements in a 12 month period for each insured item.

Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect the functionality of your device, like surface scratches and dents.
Remember you can insure any 3 items for £15.99p/m. Loss cover £1.50p/m per item, loss cover is not available for laptops, MacBooks, desktop PCs or PC monitors

To be eligible for a Protect Your Bubble policy, your gadget must have been purchased as new - OR - if refurbished or remanufactured, purchased directly from a manufacturer or network provider or from a seller listed in the Assurant approved retailers list only. This includes some retailers on eBay. We do not cover second-hand phones.
