If you cancel within the first 14 days after you receive your insurance documents, you'll receive a full refund. After the first 14 days, we will cancel the policy at the end of the current month. For example, if you have paid your latest monthly premium on the 1st of January and contact us to cancel on the 15th of January, we will set the policy to cancel on the 31st of January and collect no further premiums. Between 01.01.25 to 30.06.25 for every gadget insurance claim that provided the information we required, we accepted 96.7%.
This represents the total claims accepted and approved as a percentage of total claims logged minus walkaways. Walkaways are those who either no longer wish to pursue the claim or do not provide the information required to process the claim. Examples of the type of information required could be (but not limited to): A crime reference number, proof of purchase, and last phone usage information.

However, some common exclusions in phone insurance policies include cosmetic damage that doesn’t impact the functionality of the device, as well as breakdown already covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, damage as a result of unauthorised repairs or mechanical work and theft or loss where these optional extras were not available or added to the policyholder’s coverage.

To be eligible for a Protect Your Bubble policy, your gadget must have been purchased as new - OR - if refurbished or remanufactured, purchased directly from a manufacturer or network provider or from a seller listed in the Assurant approved retailers list only. This includes some retailers on eBay. We do not cover second-hand phones.
Yes – tell the police about any stolen gadget as soon as you can. We will ask you to provide the police reference number and police report before we will pay any claim for theft.

Yes, we offer a multi-gadget discount. If you add a second gadget you will get 10% off the total policy price. Additionally, you can insure 3 gadgets under one policy from £16.99 per month. Each additional gadget costs an extra £2.50 per month (up to a maximum of 10 insured gadgets under each policy).

You will be advised online or on the phone what information and documents you will need to provide for us to assess your claim, like your proof of ownership or police reference number.
All approved claims require an excess payment. Pay your excess and sit tight while we either repair your gadget or send you a replacement. Your excess will need to be paid before we can settle your claim.
Any Gadget Insurance account login registrations made before the 19th June 2021 will no longer work as the online system used to access your account and policy details has since changed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Please be aware any gadget insurance policy you have with us has not been affected by this change. You will however need to re-create an account in order to view your policy online or access the features of the new login area.

Samsung Galaxy Tablets typically do not have a dedicated reset button. To perform a reset, go to Settings > General Management > Reset. From there, you can choose options like Factory Data Reset. If your tablet is unresponsive, you can try a hard reset by pressing and holding the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously. Always make sure your device has been backed before performing a reset to avoid losing any data.

This is not a replacement-as-new policy, your replacement gadget will be refurbished or remanufactured. If your gadget cannot be replaced with an identical one of the same age and condition, we will replace it with a comparable or equivalent device, taking into account the age and condition of the original gadget.
Whether or not your phone insurance policy covers cracked screens depends on your provider and the exact terms and conditions of your policy.
However, many insurance providers, including Protect Your Bubble, provide repairs for accidentally cracked screens that affect the functionality of the device, not including cosmetic damage like surface scratches or dents.
